I’m sure most people have went to the water park. I went to a water park called Daemyung Resort with my friends

 

This slide is called Boomerang. At first, I was scared but later on it was not. It’s speed was so fast when you go down. It’s like riding a rollercoaster because you go up and down really fast. You might get confused with the other slide called waterslide. Boomerang is color blue and yellow  but waveslide is color mint and white. It’s really dark when you go down because it’s covered but after around 5seconds it is not covered so there’s sunlight which makes it bright. I was really scared because I reached the end part of the slide.

 

You ride a tube and wait for the wave to come, then you will be swept away by the wave. I had lots of fun. I even bumped my head on the wall because the wave was strong and the person behind me kicked me but I don’t really care fun is the number one. There are two strong waterfalls. When you pass through it, it’s really painful. I think I really enjoyed going in extreme river because I stayed here for a long time.

The water was cold and a little bit dirty. There were ants and leaves and I think it's because there are trees along the extreme river.

 

 

 

When I went to wave pool, I thought it would be fun but it turned out that it was the most boring wave pool I ever went. It’s too shallow and the water was really cold but clean. Wave comes in two sides. Beaches have waves so when I went to the wave pool, I felt like I went to the beach because there were sands before you go inside the water. It’s really cool that they make fake waves but there’s no fun like extreme river.

 

 

 

I felt so cold that I went to the open-air bath with my friends. There were lots of people inside and I think it’s because they felt really cold. When I went to the water park it rained in the morning so the sunlight wasn’t that strong. I felt really warm, and it was so relaxing. The smell was so good. They smelled like red wine and green tea. it kind of made me thirsty because I love to drink green tea. you can also see the beautiful beach while you are in the open-air bath because the beach is just in front to the water park. The degree of the water was around 40 degree so it was hot when I first when in. imagine you were in the cold water and you go inside the hot water immediately. It would be really hot.

 

 

My body really hurt because I played too much with my friends in the water. So I went to the neck shower. I felt relaxed, for the water was warm. Because of the water pressure, the muscle gets relaxed and I felt comfortable because I didn’t have to worry about the pain. There were some bobbles too and the water was a little bit dirty. I think it’s because most kids are using it with their mother and father.

 

Water flex which is located outside is for kids who are in elementary school like grade one to three. However I didn’t really care so I went there to play with my friends. Somehow it was boring but somehow it was fun because there were small colorful plastic ball floating on the water. We had a ball fight. It reminded me when I was in elementary. I used to throw plastic ball to my mom asking her to play with me. Even if the ball is small, they really looked cute. I was kind of embarrassed because people who passed by were looking at us and I think it’s because we were playing in kid’s pool. The water in water flex wasn’t that cold and it only came up to my knee.

 

It was kind of childish when I rode waveslide with my friends because all we did was just sitting down then the water will push us down. I love the color of this slide because it’s color mint. Mint is my favorite color. it takes really long time to go down. The slide was really long. It was the longest slide in Daemyung resort which I felt dizzy. There was wind sound when I was going down which means the slide is really fast.

 

 

 

Even though I went to Daemyung resort last time I want to go there again  with my friends. I know there are only few thing we can ride but it's still a good place to have fun and relax. I made a great memories which I could never forget. Why don't you try to go there? It's time for you to have fun and makes some memories with your friends.

 

 

Mao's Last Dancer

 

I watched a movie “Mao’s Last Dancer”. The movie is a true story and a romance movie. The main character is Li Cunxin who is 11years old. Li was the sixth son of a poor family and he is chosen by a delegation from Madame Mao's Beijing Dance Academy to train as a ballet dancer. However his strength was too weak to catch up other student. So, he practiced harder than anyone staying up late at night to practice. Years later, he travels to Houston in a cultural exchange program invited by the artistic director Ben Stevenson and he is promoted to principal dances of the Houston Ballet Company.

 

Li had a teacher called Teacher Chang who told him a story about a frog which was in a well. I think this means that I have to try hard to experience many things. The frog didn’t have any ideas about what is outside the well before it was able to jump over it. However, after the frog which jumped over it was able to experience much more things because it was able to find a new world. Like what Li did to be a great ballet dancer, I will also try my best to achieve my dream. Teacher Chang was really important to Li because he gave inspiration to him. I also have someone who gave inspiration to me and it's my teacher in school. She always talk about something that is related to life. One day, She told me look at the future and think what I want to be when I grow up then try to think of a way how you can achieve it. If you thought about them then put them in an action so that's what I did and I found out that all I need is to study really hard to become a doctor when I grow up. That is why I am studying really hard and my grades really improved a lot.

 

When he went to Huston, Texas, he met Liz. He was supposed to go back China because of the Chinese government. Chinese government asked Li to return to China but he marries with Liz and is not forced to go back to China. Sadly they got divorced because Liz wanted to dance and Li asked her to do all the housework and made her not able to dance.

 

 

I have thought about the pros and cons about Li’s decision of not going back to China. Good things would be that Li could keep his career and doesn't need to worry about his dreams. He can keep his job as a male ballet dancer, and he can continue to love his wife. However there are some bad things too. He cannot visit his hometown and he cannot see his family in China. He still can have his job when he goes to China because Chinese admit that he is an excellent dancer. He would still be popular when he goes to China. Even though he was not able to see his family since he was young, I think Li made a good decision for not going back to China. Being a good ballet dancer is difficult and you only live once.

 

 

 

 

After five years, he has a great surprise during a performance ' the rite of spring". Li’s parents were sitting in the VIP seat to watch Li’s dance. They cried when they were watching their son Li dance. When Li saw his parents in the audience, Li's parents came up on the stage and they cried and hugged each other for a long time.

 

 

 

 

At the end Li and Mary who is also a member of Li's Company gets married. Later on, and the Chinese government gives them permission to visit China. Li returns to China and with Mary. The movie ends by Li meeting Teacher Chang and dances with Mary in front of the neighbors. I don't know what happened to Liz

 

 

 

 

 

What I like about this movie is that I can feel how hard Li tried like practicing at night alone to catch up with other students. One thing I don't like about this movie is that Li used Liz. She went through a lot of governmental problems with him. However Li asked too much to her. He keeps telling her to do all the housework and that made her not able to have time to dance. I feel sorry for Liz. Liz really want to be with Li. She really loved him.
